DAILY BALANCE- Parents go to work, pups go to school.

Daily Balance is designed for those dogs who wish to come to day-train classes.  Daily balance is a great alternative to doggy daycare, or for those dogs who don't have appropriate behavior for doggy daycare or for owners who are looking for their dogs to get more one on one attention and more focus on developing and maintaining appropriate behavior.  Drop off is from 7:30am to 9:00am and pick up is from 4:00pm to 5:00pm. We currently offer Daily Balance Monday through Friday. Daily balance is recommend for those dogs to attend after attending a board and train program or those dogs who are currently taking private lessons. We find our highest success rate with those owners who choose private lessons and daily balance and then for those students who want continued maintenance behavior following board and train.

Frequently Asked Questions:

How is this different then Doggy Daycare?

Doggy Daycare is designed to be a free for all, all day long. There is no structure or rules. Daily Balance is specifically designed to help you with your dogs behavior! We want them to listen, sit at the door before going out, walk nicely on leash alone or on a group pack walk, they get to go on field trips to stores that are dog friendly to work on their behavior in different environments, they get to learn new skills like biking and rollerblading, nose work games, swimming, resistance running with a parachute, the "place" command etc. Your dog will have a planned out day of activities to keep them mentally stimulated and learning.

How do I sign up?

Every dog and owner that is interested in signing up must schedule a behavior evaluation. This is a 30 minute interview with you and your dog, where a trainer will sit down and talk to you about what types of training you want to accomplish with your dog. If we believe your dog is a great fit for the daily balance program, we will then discuss different packages that you can choose to enroll your dog in. All behavior evaluations are $30 and are 30 minutes in length! They can be scheduled Monday through Friday.

What is a behavior evaluation?

A behavior evaluation gives us the opportunity to see what types of behavior you are looking to focus on while your dog is at daily school. We want to make sure that we set up attainable goals for you and your dog. We ask that every owner prepares a behavior wish list to bring to their behavior evaluation. A behavior wish list is a list of behaviors you would like your dog to work on. Examples: jumping on new people, darting out the door, chasing cars, barking at other dogs on walks etc. The more we know about your dog the more we can help!

What does it cost to attend daily?

The cost for daily attendance is $70 per day.

What are your pick up and drop off hours?

Our morning drop off times are from 7:30am to 9:00am. Your dog will be out and about all day working on behavior, going on field trips and having structured social play with other dogs that also come for daily balance. Dog needs to be picked up at our facility between 4:00pm-5:00pm. We do charge a late fee for dogs picked up after our evening pick up hours.

What do I need to bring for my dog for Daily Balance?

Your dog must be on a collar and leash that he can not slip out of. Any training collars that your dogs wear need to be charged, and ready to go for the day. Ask us about The Best Dog Leash. We recommend that every dog that comes for daily balance comes in The Best Dog Leash.
